I know this is the perfect bath time utensil for my little hogglett but she is NOT fond of the water. The brush arrived right in time for her bath an I only got like 2 strokes in w the brush before we had to stop. However right off the bat I can tell it's great quality

Hedgehogs and Friends

Hi Luis, thanks for giving our bath brush a try! Sorry to hear your hedgie is a little bit prickly about the water. Something that helps us when we’re dealing with a reluctant hog is to give them a bath using our kitchen sink, because the flat bottom gives them better footing (sometimes the slope of a bathroom sink can leave them scrambling for purchase as they try to find a way out of the water). You can also help acclimate your hedgie to bath time by filling the sink with about an inch of warm water, and letting them run around/explore for a minute or two before trying to actually bath them. Some hedgies also get nervous about the running water aspect of bath time, so rather than placing your hedgie under a stream of water, you can use a small measuring cup to gently pour water over their back, making sure to stay away from their eyes/ears. You can also try to use Quill Chill 45 minutes to an hour before bath time to help your hedgie feel calmer. We hope this helps!

Not as advertised

The toothbrush in the photo looks soft with nice neutral colored bristles that look like they would get between my hedgie's quills nicely. The brush I received, however, has densely packed plastic rainbow colored bristles. It's fine. It's a toothbrush. It's just not what I thought I ordered...
